作为PM,BA,或者项目相关的职业路径,我相信大家对PMP和Prince2这两大认证一定不会陌生。
PMP作为全球最受欢迎的项目经理认证,知名度其实远超过Prince2.路达我当年也是觉得有一证在手,走遍天下都不愁。

然而,现实往往有时候很惭愧,在我们澳大利亚,最常用的确是Prince2




想想也难怪,我们澳大利亚的第一大移民国家,还是英国人嘛。所以各大政府及企业机构那些高层,基本都是有英国背景的。所以Prince2在澳洲市场成为主流,其实也很正常罗。
那么Prince2的认证到底怎么玩呢?
我这边只说大概的思路,具体内容大家自己谷歌。

1,Prince2 主要分为PRINCE2 Foundation 和Practitioner。(Agile的认证不成熟,市场认知度不高,有兴趣还不如靠scrum master有效)
2,Foundation针对的是BA,架构师等和项目管理有间接或直接的工种,熟悉流程。
Practitioner针对的是真正的项目经理,实际应用。
3,Foundation的认证考试没有门槛,也不用像PMP一样必须有PDU积分(培训小时数),而且理论上永不过期。
Practitioner更对应PMP,所以有考试门槛: 必须有21小时的培训时数(PDU),且必须有Foundation或PMP和CAPM/IPMA认证的要求。而且每三到五年必须renew一次。(是要考试的,而不是像PMP的renew,攒到PDU付钱renew就行)

考试信息:
都可以online在家参与认证考试
Fundation的认证考试是1个小时,闭卷考试,共75题选择题,50%的正确率就可以通过。
Practitioner的认证考试是2个半小时,开卷考试,共80题主观题,55%的正确率就可以通过。

考试方式及费用:
如果只是考试,费用在250-450之间,个人推荐PeopleCert和EXIN两大机构。我这次报名的是PeopleCert,224美金(可退税:)

据统计,虽然现在来澳洲读书的华人越来越多,但真正大学毕业后留下能留下来在澳洲工作生活的,基本不超过30%。这个数字其实很令人悲伤,因为不论对于个人,对于澳洲社会,尤其对于在澳洲的华人社群,都是非常大的损失。而当我们去仔细分析那70%的学生回国的真实原因,你会发现很多人的回国选择其实很无奈,因为--在澳洲根本找不到合适的工作!


基于这个原因,一群有理想的人决定做点有意义的事情,去帮助我们华人的学生们更好的适应这个社会。让他们了解澳洲职场该如何踏入,该如何生存,该如何去好好的规划他们的大学生活。




于是,在2016年9月17日,由ISCA(国际学生就业会)主办的《职场UP&GO》大型职场分享论坛及社交酒会在墨尔本喜来登酒店隆重登场。而我们IT帮,作为IT华人自己的社群,旨在创建更好,更抱团,更正能量的华人IT生态圈,被邀请作为唯一IT行业合作社团参与本次活动。帮主路达,和IT帮众多长老们,更是应邀出席现场,和来自墨尔本各大高校的小伙伴们一起,分享了大学和求职路的各种经验及Tips,希望能帮助更多的华人学生,来应对未来求职的挑战。

The position
 
We have an exciting opportunity available to join our CTS Oceania Service Operations and Support Team as an Operations Engineer.  The CTS Oceania Service Operations and Support Team provide support for all the systems and networks that our products and services run on in the Oceania region.
 
Based in Abbotsford, this position will suit individuals seeking to make the move into a challenging, business critical role within the technology space. You will be provided with extensive on the job training and supportive management who will encourage your development and career growth opportunities.
 
Previous IT Support experience or knowledge of batch processing and queue management, systems monitoring and performance, backup and recovery is an advantage, however more important is a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Monitor all batch processing to ensure all is accurate and complete and escalate up to Support teams where required.
Schedule the processing of major corporate actions and ad-hoc jobs for clients
Manage electronic data exchanges
Monitor the Datacentre environment and IT infrastructure and escalate issues where required.
Ensure all outages and application failures are logged and escalated as required.
Ensure intraday and overnight processing is completed as per check lists
Ensure all backups are monitored and completed successfully 
You must be willing and able to work in a shift environment supporting the Data centre 24 hours, 5 days per week and be part of the team rotation for weekend support.
 
Essential skills/experiences required:
 Knowledge and experience using SCRIP (highly advantageous)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn IT systems and procedures
Experience working in a shift environment OR the demonstrated flexibility, desire and skills needed in order to do so
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and work across many infrastructures
Ability to work with other teams to resolve/troubleshoot system/application issues
Initiative and a proactive approach to learning
Structured and methodical approach to problem solving
Strong communication and customer service skills 
Desirable skills/experiences:
 Experience with VMS, Linux, Windows and One Note

The position
 
We have an exciting opportunity available to join our CTS Oceania Service Operations and Support Team as an Operations Engineer.  The CTS Oceania Service Operations and Support Team provide support for all the systems and networks that our products and services run on in the Oceania region.
 
Based in Abbotsford, this position will suit individuals seeking to make the move into a challenging, business critical role within the technology space. You will be provided with extensive on the job training and supportive management who will encourage your development and career growth opportunities.
 
Previous IT Support experience or knowledge of batch processing and queue management, systems monitoring and performance, backup and recovery is an advantage, however more important is a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Monitor all batch processing to ensure all is accurate and complete and escalate up to Support teams where required.
Schedule the processing of major corporate actions and ad-hoc jobs for clients
Manage electronic data exchanges
Monitor the Datacentre environment and IT infrastructure and escalate issues where required.
Ensure all outages and application failures are logged and escalated as required.
Ensure intraday and overnight processing is completed as per check lists
Ensure all backups are monitored and completed successfully 
You must be willing and able to work in a shift environment supporting the Data centre 24 hours, 5 days per week and be part of the team rotation for weekend support.
 
Essential skills/experiences required:
 Knowledge and experience using SCRIP (highly advantageous)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn IT systems and procedures
Experience working in a shift environment OR the demonstrated flexibility, desire and skills needed in order to do so
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy

CTS Globally have approximately 1000 employees, with approximately half of them in Oceania and the other half split between the Americas and EMEA regions. Each region is split into 3 major divisions; Infrastructure Services, Business Services and Development Services. Additionally there are 2 Global Development teams, mostly located in Yarra Falls.

Each region is responsible for supporting the technology within its region, while working closely with the other regions to ensure global consistency among technology standards and implementations. Each region has one main data centre split between two physical sites as well as several smaller machine rooms at remote locations. As the bulk of Computershare development is performed in Australia, there is a heavy development focus and support load for the Oceania regional Infrastructure team. 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced storage engineer on a full time permanent basis to manage and monitor our storage and SAN environments within the Oceania region. As the successful candidate you will be responsive to customer needs and work cooperatively with other CTS technical support teams to ensure a high level of customer service. This includes collaborating with team members and colleagues to learn understand and communicate information effectively. 
Within the role core hours will be 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday however there is an on-call component which requires after hour and weekend support.
Responsibilities 

The Storage Engineer’s function resides within the Technical Management Team, reporting to the Storage Team Lead. The role is responsible for the following:


Managing and monitoring of storage and SAN environments requiring expert knowledge of SAN and Storage infrastructures
Storage provisioning and decommissioning of obsolete data including but not limited to zoning and volume creation and ensuring available storage capacity for new data
Ensure the data are highly accessible and recoverable
Administration and performance analysis of the storage and SAN environment
Developing and improving process and procedures supporting the storage team, including process automation where appropriate and maintaining procedures and knowledge repository
Coordinating, investigating, documenting and resolving issues that are related to the storage and SAN environments
Using SAN, Block Array, and NAS management tools to analyse performance bottlenecks and identify congestion or slowdowns and take appropriate action to resolve
Using and maintaining storage software products (Unisphere, MPIO, SE, Powerpath, SolarWinds)
Storage Consolidation / Thin Provisioning- Data Analysis, Block Virtualization, Data Protection, Data De-Duplication
Managing EMC solutions (VMAX, VNX, VNXe, Clariion and DD products)
Managing Cisco, Quantum, HP and Dell solutions ( MDS9519, MDS9148 and MDS9124e, fabric interconnects)(Scalar i500, i40 and SKM products) (MSA, MSL and VTL products) (EqualLogic products)
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on Storage and SAN Technologies
Planning, coordinating, and upgrading components of the Storage and SAN as needed with software, hardware and microcode upgrades. Working with vendors as needed
Undertake project work allocated to you by the Team Lead or Manager and work on assigned day to day tasks.
Participate in DR exercises and scheduled Change Windows including after-hours
Works closely with customers to meet storage needs

Skills and Experience


Previous commercial experience as a storage engineer, preferably within AIX and Linux managing storage of 1 Petabyte or above
Tertiary level qualification within computer science, business or related discipline 
Commercial experience within the ITIL framework
Strong understanding of storage systems, controllers, replication technologies, SAN fabrics, host connectivity and Operating Systems. 
A strong understanding of operating environments that access storage e.g. Unix, VMS, vSphere and Windows
Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies.
Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders

This position exists to assist our clients in assessing, investigating and rapidly responding to IT Security incidents in order to preserve the integrity and viability of their business operations.
 
In the event of a suspected intrusion the position will be responsible for the following:
 
 

Manage and investigate the security incident
Recommend possible remediation
Report on the findings 
Experience is required to enable the professional and effective management of an investigation through knowledge of IT systems and applications. Also required in this position is knowledge and understanding relating to the law, legal protocols, professional standards and regulations in the area of digital evidence investigation and analysis.
 
Investigators will also be expected to establish a network of persons involved in similar areas (both internal and external to IBM), e.g.: IT Security teams, Network Security along with members of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Participation in the team’s on-call roster is required within this position.
 
Due to the critical nature of services provided by IBM CSAR A/NZ, all roles within the team are, at times, subject to stressful situations and peak workloads.  Successful job candidates can expect to encounter such situations and workloads within the role and should be aware that this can occur outside of normal business hours.
 
The IT Security Investigator role is responsible for conducting IT investigations into computer systems and individuals.  These investigations often involve highly sensitive and confidential situations, data and information.  As a result the investigator may be exposed to distressing events or inappropriate material.

Confirm or dispel whether an incident occurred
Investigate Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks
Investigate compromise or breach of server, workstation, or data security
Investigate suspected fraud or other illegal acts involving IT services or processes
Investigate hostile action (or threats of hostile action) that has the intent to expose or publicize confidential electronic data, or cause that data to become inaccessible.
Investigate computer crime which includes dishonest, fraudulent, malicious, or criminal use of computer systems and networks to obtain financial benefit.
Investigation Intellectual Property Theft - Unlawful taking of electronic data stored in a computer system, or the electronic data of a third party stored in a computer system for which the company is legally responsible.
Investigate access gained to computer systems and networks by unauthorized persons, or by authorized persons in an unauthorized manner
Investigate unauthorized use of the capacity (memory, bandwidth, etc.) of computer systems and networks by unauthorized persons, or by authorized persons in an unauthorized manner.
Promote the accumulation of accurate information
Establish and maintain controls for proper retrieval and handling of evidence
Minimise disruption to client business
Take into consideration investigative requirements for legal or civil recriminations against perpetrators and negligent parties
Provide accurate reports and useful recommendations
Provide emergency response 24 hours/day, 7 days/week for Premium Customers

Experience with industry recognised forensic software tools
